Food Art

Sandra Marshall is a prominent food artist based in Phoenix, Arizona. She gained significant recognition for her plant-based food art, which she began creating when her daughter decided to become a vegetarian at a young age.

Marshall transforms fruits and vegetables into intricate and often whimsical art pieces, frequently accompanying them with stories and poems. Her work has gone viral on social media, especially after her "Bernie in Eggplant, Potato, and Kale" piece resembling Bernie Sanders at the 2021 Presidential Inauguration.

She is the author of two food art books:

"One Hot Night at the Veggie Bar" (for adults, with humorous and sometimes suggestive stories)

"The Razzleberry Wackadoodle Garden" (for children, encouraging healthy eating through artistic representations of fruits and vegetables)

Sandra Marshall also has a background in various art mediums, including painting and sculpture, and previously owned "Be An Artist Studio" in Phoenix, where she taught art. She now focuses on her food art creations, including custom pieces for private collectors and presentations at schools to inspire children to see healthy foods as art.
